Newszy: Abu Dhabi – Moscow Fashion Week, a key event in the international fashion calendar, is set to take place from March 14 to 19. It comes at the end of a season that began in Paris, Milan, and other fashion capitals, and Moscow is preparing to present an exciting lineup. The event will showcase a wide range of leading Russian designers, international brands, and emerging talents.

Among the participants is the renowned designer Alena Akhmadullina, whose haute couture gowns often appear on red carpets worldwide. The lineup also features prominent names such as Sergey Sysoev, House of Leo, Yana Besfamilnaya, Za_Za, and Masterpeace. The event’s truly international reach is underscored by participants from Spain, China, Turkey, and beyond.

Returning to Moscow Fashion Week is acclaimed Turkish designer Emre Erdemoğlu, known for his work with film and television stars. Reflecting on his participation, Emre shares that participating in the high-level event significantly strengthens his brand’s position. “Moscow Fashion Week provided an international platform to present my design philosophy and narrative-driven approach, allowing the brand to reach a wider audience beyond Turkey. This participation strengthened the brand’s visibility in global fashion circles and created new opportunities for collaborations and media coverage,” emphasizes Emre.

The Spanish designer Madame & Mister Sibarita will present the Instinct Naturel collection, crafted from organza, silk, bamboo, and tomato vegan leather. The renowned Chinese brand D.Martina Queen will present its collection made from innovative bionic down-like filling material. Moscow continues to champion conscious consumption and environmental sustainability in fashion.

Moscow Fashion Week will also spotlight a revival of glamorous aesthetics. Russian luxury brand Solangel, known in the Middle East, will unveil a collection inspired by the soft shimmer of snow, where pearls and other delicate accents adorn soft knitwear to create an elegant glow. Attention to detail, luxurious fittings, and fabrics are characteristic of another Moscow brand, Elisabetta, which, paying homage to the elegance of the early 1950s, has chosen white as the main color of the collection, embodied in soft cashmere and exquisite silk.

Asia-Pacific growth outlook lifted to 5% for 2026

    September 24, 2026

Economic growth across developing Asia and the Pacific will moderate to 5.0% in 2026 from 5.5% in 2025. The Asian Development Bank raised its 2026 forecast by 0.1 percentage point from its July estimate. Growth should edge up to 5.1% in 2027, according to the September Asian Development Outlook. Strong investment, government stimulus and technology exports tied to artificial intelligence spending continue to support regional activity. The regional inflation forecast for 2026 fell to 4.2%, compared with 4.3% in the July outlook. The 2027 inflation projection rose slightly to 3.5% from 3.4%. Both figures remain above the 3.0% inflation rate recorded across developing Asia and the Pacific in 2025. Price stabilization measures have limited some consumer impacts from high energy costs, while elevated global energy prices continue to pressure household and business expenses across much of the region. The outlook identifies conflict and extreme weather among the main risks facing economies across the region. Continued disruptions linked to conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine have kept global energy prices high and volatile. A very strong El Niño could also reduce agricultural production and hydropower generation in affected economies. The report also lists renewed trade policy uncertainty, tighter financial conditions and a sharp repricing of AI-related equities among additional downside risks.
